The Songzanlin Buddhist monastery is a beautiful, holy, zen, peaceful temple outside Shangri-la. The highlight of the trip for me.

Compared to Jing’an Temple, Jade Buddha Temple has more monks roaming around and has a more intimate vibe and an awesome koi pond.
