<p>I expect cool things from Japan but not from McDonald&#8217;s.</p>
<p>Apparently the Quarter Pounder were only availbe in select Japanese McDonald&#8217;s due to the types of grills needed to cook them.  But with this scarcity brought a cult following to the classic burger, in an In-N-Out is only available on the west coast sort of way.</p>
<p>So McD&#8217;s opens up a restaurant aptly named Quarter Pounder &#8211; where that&#8217;s all they serve.</p>

<p>There are only two menu items &#8211; single and double.  I love the simplicity.</p>

<p>And they also gave the whole store and packaging a new design aesthetic.  Very nice.</p>
