On Sunday, my family met up at the vibrant Jakarta Seafood Market for a big lunch by the water. Here was the scene:
How it works…
First, these guys catch the fish.
You then visit these guys and choose your desired seafood (it works out to about 1$ per lb).


I highly recommend the squid…
You then bring your catch to these guys, who cook it to order for about 50 cents.
The end result is a cheap, tasty feast featuring some of the freshest seafood you can find anywhere…
