Meet up with some new friends at a Uighur Restaurant. The thought of meeting international friends was a big draw for us to move abroad and this night totally delivered. The roster: 2 Brits, 1 Aussie, 1 Dane, 1 Dutchman, 2 Shanghaiese, and a French Girl. Big ups to Abby for hooking it up.
Also the food was delicious. Sheeps heart – actually pretty good, lamb cooked about 7 different ways, salad and some eggplant fritters. The dark but not too heavy Sinkiang beer washed it down well. Not bad for about $13 each.
