I expect cool things from Japan but not from McDonald’s.
Apparently the Quarter Pounder were only availbe in select Japanese McDonald’s due to the types of grills needed to cook them. But with this scarcity brought a cult following to the classic burger, in an In-N-Out is only available on the west coast sort of way.
So McD’s opens up a restaurant aptly named Quarter Pounder – where that’s all they serve.

There are only two menu items – single and double. I love the simplicity.

And they also gave the whole store and packaging a new design aesthetic. Very nice.
