Back in February, Jenna and I got bumped off of a Delta flight from Tampa to NYC and we were each given $400 vouchers as compensation. These expire soon and I’ve been asking my self the question: Where in the world do I want to go?
A new site called timespentalone helps people answer this exact question. Built on top of the Google Maps API, it asks you where you want to go and why and lets you share this desire with the world along with beautiful satellite visuals.
My aswer is above: Istanbul. I’m dying to go but not sure if I have the will to pull the triger. While the flight there would be manageable, I’m sure the costs would add up and could put me in a hole heading into the holiday season.
Anyway, back to the site…the page reloads every few seconds making a really nice screensaver. Here are a few of my favs:
